To ensure positive and sustainable relationships, we hold all our suppliers to ten essential standards.
The updated JTI Supplier Standards will come into effect on October 1, 2025.
These updates reflect JTI’s continued commitment to the highest standards of integrity, sustainability, and responsible business practices across our operations and supply chain.
Our long-term success and sustainable growth depend on acting responsibly in everything we do, and we count on your continued support to help us achieve these goals.
Compliance with the updated Standards is essential. They incorporate new regulatory requirements and evolving expectations around ethical, sustainable, and responsible practices.
What’s New ?
Compliance with laws and regulations: Including updates on sanctions and competition law.
Human rights: Enhanced focus on preventing forced labor, child labor, and discrimination.
Environment: New responsibilities, including specific sustainability targets.

Every JTI supplier needs to sign up to our terms and conditions.
The JTI Group Privacy Policy relates to supplier’s data privacy and protection.
JTI believes that its suppliers are as valuable to its success as any other partner with which it works. We insist that all our partners respect certain key values and principles – as we do ourselves. This is reflected in our invoicing system, which, streamlined and efficient, is designed to ensure that we expedite all payments as speedily as possible. But that’s also why we insist on a number of mandatory elements and processes for our invoices. In this way, we help to ensure, for both parties – JTI and suppliers – that integrity is maintained and upheld, and that any potential pitfalls surrounding transparency and conflict of interest are avoided.
At JTI, supplier certification is a key part of our sustainability commitment. It helps us ensure that we work with responsible partners who meet our standards and share our values of transparency, integrity, and accountability.
To support this, JTI uses ATAI, our supplier and e-sourcing portal powered by the Ivalua solution, to manage the full supplier lifecycle in a simple and consistent way.
How ATAI Works
If you are a potential supplier to JTI, you will be invited to register in ATAI. The invitation will be sent from the following email address: no-reply-jti@ivalua.com (ATAI)
Through the portal, you can manage your company information and complete the required onboarding questionnaire.
Once submitted, your information is securely transferred to JTI’s systems and used for supplier qualification and ongoing collaboration.
Employees of our Global Business Service Centers (GBS) may reach out to request data updates or to verify the accuracy of your company’s information, to maintain the highest standards of data quality.
Why ATAI Matters
ATAI is designed to make interactions between JTI and its suppliers as smooth and efficient as possible:
All supplier data is stored in a single, consistent format, reducing duplication and delays.
Information is exchanged quickly and securely between JTI and its suppliers, including information about invoices or payment status.
The platform supports our commitment to transparency, data security, and compliance.
By using ATAI, we ensure that supplier information is kept accurate, up to date, and protected, while enabling a more efficient and reliable working relationship.
Support and Communication
Our supplier portal also allows suppliers to raise questions and communicate with JTI when needed, ensuring clarity and support throughout the onboarding and collaboration process.
